Seniors for Seniors was established in May 1985 by Peter D. Cook on the advice of his then 80 year old mother, catering exclusively to the needs of senior citizens and older adults. Our Hamilton Office opened in January 1991. We have served many clients over the years and have testimonials on file for any client wishing to have references before using our services. We are a non-medical homecare agency providing Junior Seniors (50 years of age plus) to serve and assist Senior Seniors (60 years of age plus). As the average age of our Junior Seniors is 60 to 65 years, there is a minimal age difference between the Junior Senior and the Senior Senior, whose average age is 85 to 90 years and therefore they have many mutual life experiences to share.

Our personnel are mature adults who enjoy the opportunity of working with seniors. Many have worked as volunteers in a variety of community service activities, have helped friends and relatives or have had some form of professional experience in dealing with the elderly who wish to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes. Whether you live at home or in an assisted living facility we offer a wide range of services which may suite your needs. All of our employees are screened and carefully selected. Their backgrounds are varied and include retired business persons, pastors, teachers, social workers, nurses, personal support workers and many other professions. They are Insured, Bonded and covered by WSIB. A hall mark of our service is that we make every effort to send the same Junior Senior to the same Senior Senior to promote a sense of continuity and stability with the senior and their loved ones. We are an approved Veterans Affairs provider.

Senior for Seniors provides care for Seniors in Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Burlington, Grimsby, Stoney Creek, St. Catharines and the Niagara Area. We are a Canadian owned and operated Senior Centered Care Organization employing and serving seniors since 1985.
